I was born and raised in the good ol’ peach state of Georgia where we say Y’all, Yes Ma’am, No Sir, God Bless You and Thank You! Ironnically, we never ate many peaches, except my Dad’s famous homemade peach cobbler. YUM!

I am a certified elementary regular and special education teacher. I taught for 7 years before deciding to go full time into wedding photography. There are days I miss the classroom, but I am so thankful that I followed my passion for photography and am able to wake up every day excited to go to work!

I am a 100% self taught photographer. I have been taking pictures since I was about 12 years old. I would go to Wal-Mart and buy the multipacks of film and set out taking photos of everything. I remember when I received my first digital camera for Christmas and crying from excitement. My sweet nieces & nephews were my subjects for many years to help me grow into the photographer that I am now.

If I were to take up another field of passion, it would be interior home decorating. Home decorating is more than a passion – it's an art of curating spaces that resonate with joy. I find immense delight in turning a house into a home by bringing a blend of aesthetics and functionality to every room.

I’m Jessica & I have had the joy of capturing people's memories professionally since 2012.
I believe in history and that we all write our own stories. I want to be the one to capture part of your story so that you can always remember it. There are so many chapters to our lives and creating timestamps to show our families decades from now is so very important, especially in this digital world!
I am a wedding photographer, a portrait photographer, and a boudoir photographer. I love that I can help illustrate the first official chapter of memories as spouses – I cry at just about every wedding I shoot (don't look at me during the first dances). And here is something crazy: I never thought I’d shoot boudoir and now it is a passion of mine! The empowerment, confidence and self-love that the session and images help people re-find is amazing.
And let me tell you I can honestly say that I love my job! I am so lucky be able to document moments in time for my clients. I think that everyone should exist in photos. It is the only way we will be able to pull deep from our memories when we are old and our family is asking about our lives. I hope that all of my clients have a truly amazing experience working with me – I am so grateful for those who have chosen me as their photographer and I sure hope they know that.
A little bit about me? I have 2 kids and they are amazing (and crazy and loud and eaters of all-the-food), I have a four legged child named Betty (she is a black Golden Doodle and is hilariously awkward), I love sushi but don’t get to eat it enough since moving back to NEPA, I could eat pizza every single day, & floating in the pool is a fantastic form of relaxation that I don't take the time to enjoy often enough. I love sunglasses & bags of all varieties. I collect cameras and I have way too much gear. And I feel like every time I talk to clients I say things that are wildly inappropriate without even knowing it – what can I say, it is truly a skill. Hey, I’m Kristy! I'm so glad you’re here! I’m a photographer, a wife, a friend, a mother, and the face behind the camera. Before photography, I was a nurse and a graphic designer. I spend my "free" time watching Chicago PD and Friends on repeat. If I could live in flip-flops, jeans and hoodies, I totally would. I'm a hugger, and can talk to anyone (the lady in line in front of me will know my life story before she finishes her check-out!). I'm sweet, with a whole lotta sass! I have a serious baked goods and iced coffee problem. So, if ya bring me a donut, we'll be best friends forever! I look forward to capturing your big day!

Yes! I would absolutely love to discuss travel details for a custom quote. I have a huge list of places on my bucket list, check to see if yours is on it because if so, I will create a special package just for you!

Post-processing is the most time intensive part of your wedding as I work hard to ensure every image meets my artistic standard. Every photo has my custom look applied, and is adjusted for things like brightness and optimal color.

Yes! Albums are not included in our basic packages, however you’re able to custom create an album through your online gallery! Wedding Albums are an incredible keepsake to commemorate your day and have a hard copy of all the artwork from your day.

A lot of studios do the watermark thing or force you to print albums through them – I’m not a big fan of that route. I do offer albums and prints through our online gallery, but the way I see it, you’ve invested a lot for your photos, so you should have the freedom to do what you want with them for personal use. You will receive a Print Release to print the images as you please. You will also be given a recommended website to print beautiful high quality prints at a cost efficient price!

Yes! I carry business and liability insurance. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance, let me know and I will get that right over to you!

I think long turnaround times are crazy, and push to have your photographs finished in 4 weeks. That said backlogs in busy season months can mean a LOT of editing, and I never want to compromise on quality in a rush to finish faster, so your contract will state it may take 6-8 weeks in case circumstances arise that prevent me from maintaining that 4 week estimate.

I LOVE what I do, and put my heart and soul into every wedding I'm lucky enough to photograph. Because of the amount of time and individual focus I want to put into every wedding, I have to limit the number of bookings I personally take per season to 10-15 annually. This way every wedding I photograph receives all the attention and time it deserves. However, I have added several talented and experienced wedding photographers to my team to shoot those wedding days that I am unable to personally shoot myself. I still edit and deliver every image to you myself. As a team, we will take up to 25 weddings a year.

YES! I find the engagement sessions extremely valuable for us as a team. I believe that an engagement session is highly beneficial in MANY ways to my clients. It is a great "trial run" for the big day. It gets you guys comfortable in front of the camera. You learn "poses" that do and do not work for you. You learn my style and get comfortable with me as a person. I usually become great friends with my brides so that the wedding day seems like a friend shooting instead of a stranger showing up taking your picture, ha! It gets us comfortable with each other and just makes the wedding day run more smoothly. Don't worry! I will guide you during the session and help you with looking natural and emotionally connected.

Every wedding is uniquely different and I do not guarantee a specific number of digital files. However, on average I deliver around 100 images per hour on a wedding day. After the wedding, I hand edit every image that I deliver to you to fit to my brand and style. The finished digital files will be uploaded to an online gallery where you can download them and share with friends and family!

I accept cash, check and credit card. All sales are subject to a 6% PA Sales Tax charge. The total balance can be broken into several payments based on how far out the wedding day is. The retainer is a minimum of 35% and the final balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the wedding date.
